Invisalign | Future Smiles Orthodontics Guam

Future Smiles Orthodontics on Guam is a certified provider of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen. Clear aligners can be thought of as removable, and invisible, braces. Clear aligners, also known as clear-aligner treatment, are orthodontic devices that are a transparent, plastic form of dental braces used to straighten teeth. Invisalign is an orthodontic device that uses these transparent, incremental aligners to adjust teeth as an alternative to wire braces. Orthodontists have the most extensive knowledge of Invisalign and other aligner systems in order to optimize their full potential in aligning teeth and enhancing smiles as an alternative to braces. As an orthodontist, Dr. Paul has the extra two years of residency training beyond dental school to properly align your teeth and enhance your smile.

Your Invisalign clear aligners are custom-made and fit snugly over your teeth and are clinically proven to improve control of tooth movement, gently moving your teeth and even rotating them when needed. Because the aligners are removable, you can easily take them in and out to continue enjoying the food you love without any restrictions! For those who participate in contact sports, this can be a great choice.

Clear-aligner treatment involves an orthodontist taking a 3D image of your teeth using their iTero scanner. The computerized model suggests stages between the current and desired teeth positions, and aligners are created for each stage. Each aligner is worn for over 22 hours a day for an average of two weeks. These slowly move the teeth into the position agreed between the orthodontist and the patient.
